It’s complimentary. No cost to the merchant.
The install call usually takes 15-20 min with our developer. If our developer has to troubleshoot, you can give us Collaborator access to your Shopify store so we can do it on our own time – you won’t have to be involved. Once we install the app, it’s functional.
We put a placeholder for $10 and then it’s updated once the actual shipping address is recorded.
Once the shipping address is recorded, it’s automatically added to the Shopify Merchant admin for fulfillment and shipping. In the event the recipient does not accept the gift, there is no order for you to fulfill.
Yes, shoppers can still use discount codes on your Shopify store with the Gipht app.
The Gipht app is optimized for both desktop and mobile.
Inventory is taken out when the sender purchases the gift.
A few things will happen if the recipient does not accept the gift or does not take any action:
1. The recipient has 10 days to take action and accept the gift
2. If the recipient does nothing, then the transaction is automatically refunded
Looking at your Orders page, scroll all the way to the right where the Tags column is visible. There are two tags you can look for:
1. Gipht: Accepted (an official order you can fulfill)
2. Gipht: Pending (has been sent to the recipient, waiting for shipping address to be submitted)
You can also filter your orders by “tagged with: Gipht: Accepted” if you have a large volume of orders and scrolling through isn’t feasible.
